Domestic abuse happens far to often and i this film we find out the true horrors that Tina turner suffered at the hands of ike turner. In one scene Tina escapes a car runs into a hotel with nothing but the clothes she is standing in, that was a pivotal moment where she started to stand up against the abuse. This part of the movie got me thinking how many woman are suffering and want will be their pivotal moment. What I do differently? / areas to improve this image I would like to do this image in a larger room so it could be used more in the final image. On Thursday I attend a workshop with Alan on Low Key lighting in the Newcastle College Photographic studio. For me it was a great opportunity to do more research and planning for my portfolio project based on high impact low fuss lighting.
aims, practice, learning outcomes and reflectionsTo measure my learning and evaluate my skill sets at the end of each project I like to take the time to reflect on the good and the bad of the final image and using the Fda framework to help me strengthen my decision making for future projects. Asking and answering questions like:
My Brief: Friday 28th November, 1.40 – Abbeyfield The Grove, Gosforth We need to get a photo of the Newcastle School for Boys pupil Adam Bainbridge who is completing his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award volunteering at Abbeyfield. He helps once a week with the weekly chairaerobics session. The session starts at 2pm so I was keen to get a mock up photo of Adam helping one of the residents do chairaerobics. If you ask for her guidance in terms of what Adam can and can’t do to help the residents so that the shot doesn’t compromise safeguarding issues, but ideally we want this to be an action shot that demonstrates the support he has provided to the residents in these sessions For my portfolio project I have decided to look at High Impact low Fuss lighting to produce creative portraits.
Here are some portraits i have taken so far. I want to produce a portfolio of creative portraiture. Here are some of my test shoot that I have done recently that have helped my build my project plan.
